Yuri Schukin KAZ WR192 def. James Ward GBR WR252 3-6,7-5,6-3
Bad luck for James, great 1st set but gave away breaks at the wrong time start of the 2nd with 3 DF's and the break to hand Schukin the 2nd set and enabled him to serve first in the decider was key imo.
James actually won more points in 86 to Schukin's 84
The day's play has gone in accordance with rankings as in the previous 10 matches the higher ranked player has won today, no shocks. Let's hope Evo can break the trend although i can't see it myself

Whenever ive watched Evans- I havent been impressed, is he really Britains next big thing?
I dont know how he has won some big matches because he doesnt seem to have any weapons at all. Where does he win his points? In the mens game nowadays you have to be able to hit big.
In his matches ive seen the only great deal of points he wins are from his opponents mistakes.
