Nah Lloyd will just spin the story to suit. Claim that the fact Boggo wasn't prepared to participate in the 'who can iron my shirts the best' competition as part of the selection play off shows he doesn't want it enough
However if Boggo were to win Bergamo I'd expect something a long the lines of "well no one ever questioned Alex's talent, we know he's a good player on his day; its just producing it under pressure of DC is much harder than at a small event like this, and that's where Alex has come undone before as he's shown in the past'

lol anyone else notice lukas dlouhy in the draw, doubles rank 5, he qualifed and probaly would have played evo second round. he is also playing doubles lol, and not seeded, dished out a bagal in his opening doubles encouter
Oh heck, Ward is the one player who I really felt had shown decently consistenrt form this year and certainly deserved one of the singles places.
It's almost as if the guys don't want to be selected. James is named in the squad and has his worst loss in a while, Boggo is not ( you were pretty safe mate ) and has a good win.
Don't think Chris is at the same malarkey but that's a very good win from him.
That's a bad loss for Ward and not the time for it to happen to him when Davis Cup selection is just around the corner, and it is definately a match that you would have expected him to win.
Good win for Eaton though and hopefully he can have a good run here as Juska is a winnable match in the next round.
