I think most of us thought bally would have a good season assumimg she avoided injury and so far so good top 70 now I do believe. She is brilliant at beating players of equal ability and now she just needs to show she can beat top 50 players on a regular basis . Top 50 is well within her sights.
Super duper. Feb 14th, and more than 300 ranking points in the year.
I know, great isn't it - she's raced through the 80s and 70s much as Anne did (with luck, she'll be just inside the top 70 tomorrow) and she has amassed 332 points from 4 tournaments so far this year - if she could manage that in 4 tournaments every quarter, that would be good enough for a top 50 place, so I think it's fair to say she's playing around top 50 standard at the moment.

Wow. Fantastic result from Bally and interesting report. Obviously her coach is doing a great job. Let's hope she doesn't get injured or ill so she can have a good crack at getting further up the rankings. The buzz in the British womens game at the moment must be electric as for over a year now things have been on a steady upward curve. Well done Bally and well done GB girls. Keep it going as we LOVEEEEEEE it.
I didn't realise this event was a winner takes all... LOL. Amusing BBC reports as ever.
HUGE congrats to Bally Gotta love that attitude where they got into the top 75 and she thought "I wanna win the title" - EVERY PLAYER SHOULD THINK LIKE THAT.
