Where have all the Lithuanians come from? First they only had 3 players and they were not much good. Now they are cropping up everywhere and winning. "Never mind they are hopeless at doubles." Now one of them is doing quite well I see. Come on M and M. You may not be in the DC squad but you can still strike a psychological blow for Britain!

It will be Beck in round 2 for Boggo after he beat Karanusic 6-2, 6-1 in 52 minutes.

Looks like Beck maybe in form this week which will make it a tougher match.

62 61 ouch. can we take comfort from the fact that 1 of those 3 games was a break? maybe not too much. not too many aces tho. how does beck play? S&V?

I wonder which ct they will be on tomorrow? probably the centre ct, hopefully it will play the same as the court Alex played on in the 1st rd, but its not uncommon for there to be quite a difference between courts at these type of events

I dont think Becks a serve/volleyer, i saw him play Lopez at Wimby last year.

Good serve, hits very hard and consistant off the ground and can sometimes finish at the net.

The top seeds in the doubles, the "Rati Thais", are out, beaten by 3 & 4 a short while ago by a certain Mr Beck & his Czech sidekick, Jiri Krkoska, who are alternates!
