2 points seems a pretty stingy reward for QFs in a 10K. When this year they increased the semi final reward from 5 points to 6, they might have considered increasing QF points from 2 to 3 say.
To my mind the women's side in general awards far too many points for early round success relative to later rounds, but here in particular the men's side to me awards too few.

As at 25 Jan, the Wardinator was the most active player in the world in 2010, with 13 matches played (2 more than the next highest), of which he had won 11 at 84.6%. There haven't been any updated stats on steveg since then, but he's now played 18 and won 16 at 88.9%. Even at the level he's playing at, that's highly impressive.
