Updated with Challengers/Futures:

Strong line up for Bath as a lead up to Jersey - although Wardy playing a clay challenger

Suprised to see Bally and KOB at a $25k but probably just in case they go out early at IW

could be an indication that wardy may also try an play Barletta over Jersey?

there are 8 Italian clay challengers over 9 weeks starting with the one above. the missing week is Rome ATP, then there is a Italian hard court challenger followed by 2 more clay challengers! (that's as far as the calendar goes) and these is also 11 futures during that period.

of course it would probably too demanding to play all of them, but a great chance to pick up some points for Wardy.

If only the LTA took note, 12 consecutive weeks of events! i guess it would be cheating in their eyes.

how can Italy afford to host these events but not GB? Wimbledon makes money not costs us. ok maybe space on the main atp tour is limited, but surely the ATP would welcome more challengers?

I make it just over 500K (euros) in prize money for all the challengers & futures (and not including hospitality) not an insignificant amount, but compared to the £30m from wimby it should be manageable.

ok Italy may not have any world beaters like Murray, but that's down to luck really, they do have 7 top 200 men, compared to our 2, and have over 100 world ranked players compared to us at about 50.

Wardy has Jersey down as his number 1 event.

Latest list has him at 19, Evans 21, Goodall 24 and Baker 25
