The main draws of the prestigious under 14 tournament start on Monday with a clutch of British players involved (plus 3 more in final qualifying), but only two (Shakeel Manji and Eleanor Dean) earning seedings. It is an event which Andy Murray won, whilst in 2008 Liam Broady and Laura Robson were finalists.

Final qualifiers are in the morning whilst the main draw starts in the afternoon. Live scores can be found at:

Good wins for Eleanor in her first match for 4 months, and Katie, against players who have been semi-finalists in Orange Bowl under 12s. Unfortunately they are both in a strong quarter along with the American who won the Bolton warm-up and a rising star from the Netherlands (Indy de Vroome, who won the 2008 Orange Bowl under 12s, and has won back-to-back ITF events this month)
