Week 4 - Futures F3 ($15K) - Kaarst, Germany - carpet

Bloomers is a DA here ... and 'notso' (haven't seen him for a while) is 43rd Alt for qualifying - sadly that probably means he won't get in!

QR1: Charlie Goode UNR lost to (WC) Sebastian Jasyk (GER) UNR by score tbc cry

A good chance for 'notso' to avoid double bakery, you'd think ... judging from tomorrow's OoP, he lost cry but the score is not available on the tournament site, ATP or ITF yet.

Perhaps Bloomers will pair up with him to play doubles, after all Richard did once play with Adam Lownsbrough ...

Btw there is live streaming of the centre court matches here from Tuesday - see the tournament site at http://www.atp-kaarst.de/

Live scores are available at http://www.tennisscores.de/livescore/10gerf3/livescorer.html#app=aa5c&568-selectedIndex=1 but they're behind schedule and the match before Bloomers (Balducci v Buryachock) has only just started.

Aha, looks like that women's match may have ended with a retirement.

Bloomers on serve early on 2-1*

Strange, the live scoreboard now shows 3 matchs on Court 3:

- Balducci v Buryachock *2-3 (Ad out), the one I assumed had ended with a retirement
- Bloomers v Matsukevitch 4-6 7-6(5) 0-0*, for which the score hasn't changed for ages
- a doubles match warming up

I wonder if this means there was a retirement in the Bloomers match too.

And now scoreboard has frozen or medical time out - 8last !

First set Bloomers was in full control on his serve dropping only 3 points Except for 7th game which he lost to love!

In 2nd set Tiebreak came from behind twice to take it 7-5

Looking at the results page, Balducci v Buryachock did actually finish, with one of them winning in two sets, so it looks like the scoreboard simply gives up after a while on that court.

I knew it was too good to be true, a scoreboard on all three courts at a futures event ! - That doubles match on ct3 is not scoring either so did someone push the wrong button and there is actually a 3rd set playing?
