0-15, 15-15 ... Radwanska hits four looping semi-lobs and somehow gets away with it 30-15 good volley from Makiri 40-15 Laura looks annoyed then hits a shot out and there'll be no bagel in this set.

Laura now down 0-15 on her serve, easy volley for Sally 15-15, but quickly afterwards it's 15-30. Good volley from Laura and Makiri nets.

I'm missing points here checking the Tsonga-Nole t/b ... Sally dollies a volley she should put away then nets the next one and that seems to be deuce. game point, deuce 2, ad out bp, Laura nets after a rally with Aga and it's 4-2*.

Makiri serving. Yet again first point goes against the serve 0-15. Sally nets another volley 15-15. Laura ue 30-15. 40-15. A good overhead from Sally forces an error 40-30. Superb shot from Nole - oops, wrong match! 40-40. Ad out bp. Eww that ds - has nobody ever taught JWT basic shot selection? Oops again. bp saved, sadly, deuce 2. Excellent return from Laura catches Aga out at the net. Ad out bp again. Unreturnable. Deuce 3. Laura wins a good rally from the back of the court Ad out bp again ... come on!

Another long cross court rally ... deuce 4. Ace out wide (yes really!) Ad in and Aga wallops one away for 4-3*. Peers to serve next and they really ned the hold - at least serving should keep Sally away from the net ...

Sally doing better at the net 30-0 nice pass from Makiri who is ominously starting to play better 30-15 another good volley from Sally 40-15 another big cross court rally between Laura and Makiri - sadly the Russian is now winning these 40-30 ... now Aga and Laura c/c rally, which Aga wins by volleying at Sally 40-40 danger here. c/c rally bwtween Makiri and Laura which Sally does very well to cut out, volleying a winner Ad in, rally at the net Deuce 2 ... fab return by Makiri ad out and suddenly it's set point, good deep serve, it's Laura against both of them again ... and she volleys away for a winner

Deuce 3. Another Makiri-Laura c/c rally won by Aga volleying at Sally ad out SP 2 and that's the set gone - bagelled from 4-0 up disbelief

I'd better get back to work ... maybe back if it goes to three.

She was at the start, but the other side persisted in playing to Laura virtually all the time and eventually Maria started playing better and Laura started making errors.
