Good win by the Wardinator in the FQR but what a rubbish draw - so many wins here the last two weeks and no points yet.
Not a big surprise that Morgan won the battle of the Brits the way things have been going so far this year. He'd already have been above Dan in the rankings if there was no delay in adding Futures points to the rankings.

That's great. He's probably won more matches than any other GB player in the last 2 weeks and finally he gets a well deserved ranking point. He made his own luck here by winning the matches that got him to the MD.
And a winnable 2nd round match !

Nice win for Alex. A R2 encounter with a fellow qualifier is an appropriate reward. Jenkins seems to be having a bit of a torrid time of it at the moment!
The only R2 pairing not to have been mentioned yet:
Well done Wardy - You won't find many players who have had to work so hard for 1 point.
True (btw Wardy is James, though we'll gloss over that ), but steveg used to publish an annual awards list which included the 'most effort, least reward' award. In 2006, Sergei Betov played 53 matches and won 33 of them without getting a ranking point and James Feaver (P 51 W 24 but no ranking points) was high up on the list too.
