That's not the number of places left for people in the top 250, it's the number of places that would be left for people outside the top 250 if everyone else in the top 250 entered by the deadline.

So in other words, there was already a chance that 2 entries already received would end up getting rejected if everyone else left in the top 250 entered, but of course they won't - the maximum number from the top 250 that we get is usually around 200, i.e. about 80% of them.

I'm actually happy for once, but I know it's just that 'pickem rush' you get when a few results early on seem OK. Once the Gems start Gemming, and the serial flakers and bottlers kick in, I'm going to be miserable/angry/frustrated/homicidal along with everyone else.

But for now, Duckula and Fish going out is great news as far as I'm concerned, as I have Luby getting to R4.
