With Galvani (2) gone, JB's now the highest ranked seed left in the draw. And if Chris can stuff the Belgian third seed, surely the Belgian sixth seed (Goffin) will be a pushover...
SF: (5) Jamie Baker WR 313 v (Q) Gary Lugassy (FRA) WR 623 SF: Chris Eaton WR 488 v (6) David Goffin (BEL) WR 326
Sadly I won't be here for the final few days so this is my last post from Scotstoun. I'll leave you with my predictions for the SF's.
BAKER V LUGASSY - Baker has only played one full match in the last three days so it's tough to say what form he is in. Did well to come through that tough first round match though and is the highest seed left in the tournament. Lugassy had a good win against Goodall today though and is a strong-hitter of the ball. I go for Baker in three sets!
EATON V GOFFIN - Eaton's serve and volley game has served him well this week on the fast courts of Scotstoun and he hasn't dropped a set yet. 19-year-old Goffin may not be the tallest of players but he has caught my eye this week with his pace around the court and clean hitting. I think he could cause Eaton problems and as much as I would love an all-British final, I think the Belgian will win in three sets. Tough one to call though!
If the ITF is to be believed, Chris Eaton's only been & gone & done it:
SF: Chris Eaton WR 488 beat (6) David Goffin (BEL) WR 326 by 6-3 6-7(2) 6-4
Oops! Clicked on "submit" before I could add that there appears to be no news of JB's fate as yet. He was scheduled to play after Chris, but this morning/early afternoon!

Eaton score is indeed correct. Well done Chris! Hearing that Baker V Lugassy is still on court so it must be a long one!!
Great win for Eaton and am I right in thinking that this is his first futures final, so obviously whatever work he did over the off-season is paying off.
Hopefully Baker can get past Lugassy as well and an all-British final would be a perfect start to the futures season.
