Similarly the 10K points have slightly improved on the stevegtennis site from the semis onwards.
The stevegtennis site does actually say that there are slight changes for 2010.
I presume Jamie is now on 8 points and that stevegtennis have not made this up ( they showed the same as the ATP site last year ) ?
Well spotted! I hadn't realised there were any changes except the points for reaching the FQR of an ATP 250, but the points for going deep in Futures have indeed changed according to the 2010 ATP Rulebook. I'll adjust the GB top 25 table accordingly.
I don't know if Stuart asked in Glasgow, but it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if the organisers and players there aren't aware of the change - it seems to have sneaked in under the radar to put it mildly!
What all this means. of course, is that unlike last year when just having no points to defend each week was enoughto keep moving up the rankings, this year players whose points totals don't change are likely to gradually slide down. (the number of tournaments at each level relative to last year has an effect too, and from that point of view the cancellation of the Besancon Challenger is not a good sign!)

Yeah, I asked and for this week, the ITF supervisor here is using the 2009 rulebook so that's why the old points have been listed. He imagines though that when the points go through, the new 2010 points will be awarded!
