Great draw for Evo, qualifying for an ATP and then getting fellow qualifier Lammer in the first round. No 3 seed Ferrero waiting in round 2 for the winner.
Re top 100, I've been fairly unconvinced of that up to now, like in the possible but unlikely camp. He's started the season decentlly though so hopefully we will see him move on a level in the coming months.
good work by Evo to come through. not sure you can judge too much on top100 from this though, he's taken advantage of a good draw that's all, although in itself its important. Gilbert always said that you have to work hard all of the time so when luck comes your way you can take advantage of it.
Next step is to be beating top 200 players consistently. To get top 100 you need to put a consistent run together (which boggo never managed).

Very well done to Evo - seems like the former world no. 1 junior wasn't quite so scary after all, and I like he way Dan tends to take his chances when he gets decent draws, though it would be nice to see him take the chance offered by the kind main draw too, even if it might mean he can't play AO Q.
Isn't it funny how now that you get points for reaching the FQR of an ATP 250, the Brits aren't bothering to stop there

The conversion chart I put it into says 13 hour difference, so his match on tonight at about 10pm. But I am notoriously bad at understanding time conversions so maybe somebody else had better check

Michael Lammer WR 209 is from Switzerland. 27 years old and 6'1. Although he did have a career high of 150 in November last year.
Kinda tailed off at the end of last year with 8 losses in his last 13 games. Although he was 1-6, 6-5 down in Basel qualifying to Kiefer when Kiefer retired, Lammer then qualified and beat Koeller in the main draw. Had Kiefer stayed fit and ended up winning then Lammer's end of 09 form would have resulted in 8 losses out of 10.
That being said although he isn't in the best of form. I'd still pick him as favourite before the match and would be really good if EVO won. Lammer is beatable, but it won't be easy for Evans
