RE: Week 2- ATP 250- Heineken Open, Auckland

And no sooner is the new ranking list out with Wardy overtaking Dan as GB no 3 than Dan takes back the position   smile

Good to see them both qualifying for MDs so early in the new season.

Anyone know the result of the Lammer match? Evo could play another qualifier...

Fabulous!!

Not the hardest draw he is ever likely to face, but great that he took advantage of it and qualified for an ATP event for the first time.

Hope he gives a good account of himself in the main draw, and most importantly get an early start!!

even sacrificing his aussie chances?

what a result for dan, considering yang was junior number 1 in his time, he has turned it around brilliantly

Auckland to Melbourne flight time is apparently only 3 to 4 hours.

So with carefully arranged draw times he can maybe fly back and forward as he slices through both the Auckland MD and the Aus Open qualifying  wink.gif

I will be pissed if they schedule dan last match on tomorow, surely they must consider the situation and put him first

Actually maybe not says he remembering that he spent over 7 hours extra waiting time for a flight from Auckland to Los Angeles last year because of the late departure and hence arrival of an incoming flight from ( you've guessed it ) Melbourne  biggrin
