the very slow cts helped jamie in this match.  ryderstedt also gave jamie a lot of free pts on double faults.  none the less, baker boy is a match away from the main draw.

Monroe lost to Baker 6-2, 6-4 in the final round of Knoxville qualifying so hopefully a similar result will occur tomorrow

Looks like Dom Inglot has given up his singles career already, he would have made singles qualifying but is only in doubles qualifying:

QR1: (q2) Inglot/Raja (GBR/IND) beat Chen/Insausti (TPE/FRA) 4-6 6-2 13-11

FQR: (q2) Inglot/Raja (GBR/IND) v (q1) Fruttero/Siljestrom (USA/SWE)

The qualifiers face the top seeds Lipsky/Martin in the main draw, so conceivably it could be better to lose the FQR match and wait for a lucky loser spot.

Baker boy is 2nd on Centre Court with play starting at 4pm GMT, while Dom is 5th and last on Court 8.

The scoreboard on screen says McClune-Jenkins, but I'm pretty sure that is Jamie. I like the flags above the stand, nice and colourful!

I was just thinking how bad the standard of tennis was compared to what we've been spoilt with from the AO the last two weeks when Jamie won a fab point at the net to break smile.gif
