Slabba won 6-3, 6-2.

Promising result but still needs to step it up against the top 400 guys now.

Plays 5th seed Caio Zampieri (who's ranked 296) in rd2.

Marray's match was last on and probably didn't start apparently due to rain

I don't quite follow that one unless they are just scoreboard testing  smile

I would guess bad weather again, this match meant to be on at 10 am which is 12 noon  GMT.

Alcaide still got to play his Q1 while got an o/s futures singles final and futures doubles final partnering Slabba.  He only appeared to have 4 spots on OOPs for today, so probably up to 5 tomorrow the way things going  biggrin

Both lost in rd2 of qualies

Slabba had his chances against Zampieri - lost 6-3, 6-7, 6-4

hopefully can pick up some points in the coming GB futures, not sure if he's playing next week but he's in the one the week after

Me too! biggrin Hoped for, but wasn't expecting, such an easy win over the Chileans! thumbsup.gif  The title would seem to be theirs for the taking, should they overcome the second seeds ... pray.gif
