it was a good start, but maybe towards the end Granny worked him out, or possibly James just couldn't keep his level as high as it needs to be to beat this kind of player, especially coming back from illness and after having had to come through qualies he may have been feeling the dtrain.

its been a good start to the year though so hopefully he'll carry that into AOQ.

Ye i really didn't expect him to qualify after his illness thought he would at least need about 5 games to get back in the swing of things but he beat Ilhan, which we all would have accepted if he got beat by him but he battled through and beat another good player in Okun and managed to take a set off a top 100 player. So all in all a great unexpected start from James :)
