That's a VERY good win from James there! If I'm honest, I wasn't expecting that. Ilhan had a very good end to last season with the US Open but hey, I'm happy happy.gif

Ward leads the H2H with Noam Okun 1-0 winning 6-2 6-4 in Ramat Hasharon Challenger in July 2008 on outdoor hard.

Interestingly Ilhan went on to win that particular tournament.


Okun does like to bash brits in general though. Been a bit of a nemesis for Boggo (IIRC) and has been as high as 95 in the rankings.

Ward vs Okun is second on Court One tomorrow.  Play starts 12 noon local time ( 6.30 am GMT ).

Sorry, my earlier reference to "James is going on..."  was on to more than 6 ranking points ( hopefully anyway smile  )

Looks like Flembo has given up his singles career and has decided to totally concentrate on doubles.

Great to see Wardy return to such good form after his long lay-off and he has a winable match in the FQR against Okun, but he would be second favourite I would think.

Flemski have a pretty good half of the draw and you would think either them or Bhupathi/Bopanna would reach the final from that section.
