A harder cut than previous year. Most obvious omission is Tara, who misses out despite moving 170 places. She hadn't met the A list criterion that automatically gets funding (meets the required ranking, but doesn't meet the criteria on individual tournament performance, and they didn't use their discretion to fund her.) Lisa W also missed out despite a big ranking rise.
Also seems you are less likely to be funded if your surname is in the second half of the alphabet.

The 1992s don't give me hope of a single top 300 player, whereas Dan and Jamie have already achieved it (and may go higher). How does this work?? Smethurst and Ward are kinda lucky after drops in form but i like both of them, obviously the LTA feel the same
