In the under 14s Katie Boulter unfortunately had to withdraw, so with our two remaining hopes Katy and Pippa scheduled to play in the round of 16 if they get that far, at best we can only get one quarter-finalist.

(17) Yulia Alexandrova (RUS) d. Hayley Macpherson 6-1 6-4
(17) Pippa Horn d. Natella Nabieva (UZB) 6-2 7-5
(LL) Brielle Koulen d. Laura Paterson (USA) 3-6 6-2 6-0
(7) Katy Dunne d. Daniela Schippers (GTM) 6-4 6-4

R2

Liz Jeukeng (USA) d. (17) Alice Keddie 7-5 6-1
Joana Valle Costa (PRT) v (17) Pippa Horn
(17) Josie Kuhlman (USA) d. (LL) Brielle Koulen 7-6(4) 6-1
(7) Katy Dunne d. Catherine Shulman (CAN) 6-1 6-2

R3

(17) Josie Kuhlman (USA) v (7) Katy Dunne

Under 14 R2 (continued)

(17) Pippa Horn d. Joana Valle Costa (PRT) 4-6 6-4 6-0

(17) Pippa Horn v Hannah King (USA)
(17) Josie Kuhlman (USA) v (7) Katy Dunne

Under 12 R3

L16

One more win would see the British champion match Eleanor Dean's semi-final last year, but the French girl ominously has only lost a handful of games so far

Don't know the scores but neither Katy or Pippa reached the semis of the U14. Lana didn't make the finals of the U12.

Full results are up on the website.

Pippa lost L32 6-3 7-5
Katy won L32 6-3 5-7 6-4
then beat the girl that Pippa lost to 6-1 6-4 in L16 but then lost QF 6-1 6-1. Possibly tired after having to play alot of matches in a short period.

Lana lost QF 6-3 7-5.
Is she related to Ian Rush the footballer ?

Right idea but wrong player smile

Just as at least 3 of our top players (Katie, Elena and Mel) Lana is the daughter of a professional footballer - but it is Matt(hew) Rush, who played for West Ham and Norwich in the 1990s rather than Ian.
