Hopefully Slabba can go a good distance this week, and begin to really feel he's coming back towards his better form.

Pity,  but last couple of weeks do appear to have beena  better standard than Slabba's first few weeks back.

Clearly still quite a considerable way off his best, but its good that he has got back playing some tennis again at the tail end of the year, and not that many players come back after long lay-offs in the way Naomi Broady has or even close to that.

Hopefully he now can have a good few weeks off, work on his game and begin to kick on more in 2010.

Hopefully Slabba enjoys his one week off  smile ,  that his game begins to come  together a bit more in the Brazil Futures, and he kicks on further in 2010.

Re Vanderbulcke match: Alex was 1-0 up in the 3rd with a break and then broke a string. Then discovered that all his rackets had been strung about 20 pounds lower than he asked and couldn't get a ball in court, lost last 6 games in a row.

Been a tough few weeks, hotel room got robbed and lost prize money and ipod
