One day it's the lifestyle of the plutocracy, with first-class flights, 5-star hotels, huge houses, sports cars, the "glamour", and everything that goes with it.
The next day it's back to living with mum and dad in suburbia. And how will she be able to afford the insurance on that Mercedes he gave her a few months ago?
Let's hope she's too classy to bridge the financial gap with a kiss-&-tell ...

Didn't know she going to university in Brighton (hopefully it's Sussex Uni, and not Brighton ex-poly as mentioned - classy girl like that should be able to get into the decent establishment). I'll have to keep an eye out for her now she's single :)
Pity, she did seem good for Andy and for his tennis. I can imagine how much it helped to be able to relax off court and talk to someone with that someone not being say Brad Gilbert ! Andy certainly didn't seem a happy bunny last week.
Hopefullly it's as amicable as they make out and they can remain friends.

I imagine that she is actually going to Brighton Uni given that it was mentioned in the article and that they do offer English at Brighton (although only as a post-grad course on its own, so either she is doing a post-grad course of they didn't give the full name of the course)
She'll be at the Falmer campus if that where she is based (actually, Sussex Uni is there as well so that's defo where she'll be).
And there's nothing wrong with Brighton Uni (although given that I attend it and also work for them, I may be a bit biased in my viewpoint)... Brighton has won Times Uni of the Year in the past while Sussex has never even been shortlisted....
Shame for the pair of them though, but perhaps the split between them has been part of the reason why his form at the end of the season has not been as good as we perhaps would have hoped as has seen him drop from 2nd to 4th (5th at the start of next year) in the rankings, but hopefully they will both be able to get over this and find some happiness again.
I guess there is fair reason to forgive Andy for some of his body language last week, even in victory v Verdasco, which I slammed as "pretty appalling" .
When she wasn't their at the start of the week I thought it was a bit strange. Andy is too professional to let it affect his performances and apart from his occasional weeks off how much did he actually see of her. A four year relationship on paper but much shorter than that if you take into account the amount of time spent together. Still very surprised as I thought they would get married eventually.

Forgive the tongue-in-cheek snobbery. My brother and ex both went to Brighton Uni and say good things about it. One of my friend groups is a bunch of ex-Sussex studes and a Sussex research fellow so some of the partisanism has rubbed off on me.
I'm a Durham boy so look down my nose at both establishments. ;)
Unfortunately I'm far too old and doughy to haunt the studenty venues in Brighton, so I doubt my path with ever cross Kim's - especially since she lives out Lewes way.
