Not sure if you guys know but in ATP qualifying points are now awarded to finalists who don't make the main draw. 6 points to the finalist and 12 to the qualifier. Think this is new and offers more incetive to try qualifying as more chance to leave with something rather than nothing

I didn't know that and its a good move I think. I would hope there would be other adjustments for the lower level tournaments as well.

not b4 AO, AOQ will be alex's 1st event. might go for some atpq's indoors tho. not sure yet.

Cav only 4 out...looks like her early trip may not have been in vain, is she lookin likely to get it?

Edit: 2 out now, gonna be close. There is still the issue of the top 10 WC not being used tho, which if it isnt goes to the next player in, so I believe we only need one withdrawl?
