That's a good win.   Although I though it was a decent draw, Harrison has certainly shown himself a very decent player, expecially for his age.

Further progress pointswise and the 5 points for reaching the last 16 cancel out the remaining 4 points that he had to defend this year ( next week ).

Probably already done enough to get into Aus Open qualifiers if he wants to go for it ( as I imagine he will ) but the more points he can get the better not just for that but helping make sure he gets Challenger DAs and to generally hopefully move his ranking ever upwards.

Well done Richard. Amazingly for Bloomers, this first round win is his 3rd highest point score of the year. Another win and it becomes his best tournament of 2009.
