Disappointing, particularly since especially with Koubek out there was a real opportunity for some good points both in this match and further on.

By winning one round, Dan is guaranteed to "inherit" the British No 3 spot from Ward on Monday week, but it would have been really great if he could have won it this week through his own great run.
