Matt Illingworth WR 801 lost to Roman Jebavy (CZE) WR 635 by 4 & 1 cry

The results of the non-Brit QFs are up (wins for Mertl (3) & Olejniczak), but there's still no sign of Goody's, yet he was scheduled to play first thing (10.00 GMT) & Matt's match took place after Mertl's! confuse

Finally got it from ITF:

(1) Josh Goodall WR 326 defeated Denis Matsukevitch (RUS) WR 488 by 6-4 6-7(6) 6-2 smile

SF:  (1) Josh Goodall WR 326 vs (3) Jan Mertl CZE WR 391

Shame for Matt to lose but a decent enough tournament for him in the first place.

Good to see Josh back in some kind of form and a couple of good results at the year will set him up for 2010 where hopefully he can get himself back towards the top 200.

Should've kept my big mouth firmly shut:  his battle in the singles with Matsukevitch must've taken too much out of Goody:  he & Chris lost that semi by 5 & 3! bleh
