RE: Week 46 - Challenger $50k - Champaign, USA

Another good, if somewhat easier result. Well done to JP and Delgo. Fingers crossed that Dom and Rylan(?) can make it three doubles winners this evening.nod.gif

Super win for Delgy. smile

According to the official website Inglot/Rizza are locked at one set all (6-3, 6-7) with Huey/Mankad, but it's been like that for over an hour now!

Result now in and it's bad news: Dominic and Rylan lost 6-3, 6-7(5), 7-10. cry

Disappointing - I'd been rather hoping for the doubles hat trick yesterday evening - but arguably at least half to be expected. cry  On a more positive note, it looks as though Delgo & JP may be in with a reasonable chance of making it to the final:  they face the Battistone brothers in today's semi after they saw off the top seeds, Martin & Ram, by 6-4 4-6 [10-4] last night. pray.gif  Only trouble is, the match won't get under way until gone midnight our time! bleh

Not looking too good at the moment:  5-7 1-0*, but the "live" scoreboard hasn't changed for 20 minutes or so & I can't stay awake any longer...! cry Hope there's better news when I log on again later this morning. pray.gif
