But got a LL spot and will play Stevenson. Hopefully the reprieve will lead to an improved performance. A bad day was completed when she also lost her doubles 10-4 in the MTB.

That'll be 28-year-old former (1999) Wimbledon semi-finalist and world no. 18 (2002)Alexandra Stevenson, now WR 229, who has gone out of her last three tournaments by retiring from matches.

If Heather gets a commanding lead, Stevenson will just give up and retire.

Suprised she lost that match, good luck in the next one. Alex is hot and cold at the moment so who knows what will happen

I'll answer my own question Heather not playing until tomorrow.

From the day's round up on the tournament site, Heather lost to Stevenson. Again, no mention of the score.

meh, that's how it goes sometimes.
Big junior tourny coming up.

You'd have to say a minor step backwards.
Probably now best she gains a bit of confidence back in junior matches.
