EWS has pulled out of last Australian challenger (hope not too serious).

Bally still entered for Czech Rep but can't believe she is actually gonna fly back from Japan for a $25K?

Maybe Elena had her sights set on finishing the year as GB no. 1 and entered for the Czech Republic in case she needed a few extra points to get there. However, by winning a match in Japan, she's already secured enough piints (assuming Katie has finished for the year), so if that was the reason for playing in the Czech Republic, it no longer exists.

With regards to that Russian Challenger. Somebody is a DA for the main draw without a single ranking point!!! This has to be scrapped after this year, what a farce

It certainly does look as if the Russian Challenger was a real potential source of much neeeded points for Eaton if he had gone there.

I do tend to agree though the back of beyond in Russia at this time of year doesn't seem the best of scheduling.
