The T20 team looks like a terrible joke. We'll probably open with Denly and Cook.
Cook in a T20 match? The guy with a SR less than 70 after playing 23 ODI matches? I think he's a great player and could become the most capped Test cricketer of all time, but heaven knows what Flower is thinking by putting him in the T20 team on the back of a few good performances against joke attacks.
Denly seems to be as chicken hearted as Bopara, Cook or Joyce before him. With Strauss being a permanent fixture in ODIs till the 2011 World Cup, at least, we have to have a hyper aggressive player like Sehwag or Gayle on the other side. The selectors fail to realise that anything below 280 is a comfortable target these days - even 300 is no biggie. But we'll be lucky to score 250 if Denly ever gets a hundred.
Mustard and Napier should have been there for the T20s and Davies for the T20s as well ODIs.
Luke Wright at 7 is a massive waste in T20s, given that he's the only one who can attack from the first ball.

Denly is quality, you'll see soon...how you can compare him with Bopara and the like ill never know, he's got loads of composure, a great/compact technique and is physically strong as well
I'd love to see him come good. I can't deny that he looks solid at the crease and can hit down the ground very well - something which very few of the current English players can do.
But at the same time, I haven't felt convinced even once in the 10 or 12 times I've seen him play this summer. Having an atrocious T20 strike (102 this season, 113 overall) doesn't really indicate that he's the replacement for Tresco.
