Laura lost 6-3 6-0 according to tennis forum so a disappointing end to a good week.

It was actually 6-3 0-0 not 6-3 6-0 but a later update still confirmed a loss 6-3 6-2.

That's a shame, but her going out to the WR 118 4th seed is hardly a disgrace.  Well done to Laura for her achievements this week. thumbsup.gif

I thought the 4th seed might prove too difficult for Laura to overcome at this stage in her career, but a good week for her and more experience gained at this level. Well done! clap.gif

Eye witness report from clearly a Laura admirer on twitter felt that she seemed in a poor mood in her last match and may have had a hand injury. This may explain her below par performance compared to her previous efforts last week.
