Interesting read about the number of tournaments. This is particuarly relevent when considering the lack of players in the 100-250 range. This has to be our next step. Sadly we have actually regressed in this regard. In the late 90s we had Delgardo, Lee, Palmer and others reguarly in that ranking group. More home tournaments would probably see the likes of Bloomfield, Goodall and Bogdanovic comfortably inside the top 250.
However in regards to getting top 100 players then the number of home tournaments is probably irrelevent as world class players will make it to the top regardless of where they play. It would be nice however to see the return of the clay ATP tournament in Bournemouth. I also think that the LTA should push hard for a masters event in the indoor season. This would pull in great crowds, especially with late night matches being played (BTW why did the indoor tournament in London get taken away? I seem to remember Lee Childs winning a match in that tournament.)

In regards to getting Rodger Draper to do a Q and A, I think you should keep pushing for it on this board. He and John Lloyd and others probably read this board reguarly. It's not like there are hundreds of British tennis boards out there to choose from
