I really hope that Andy can improve the first serve percentage. It's such a key stat and he's woefully down in it, from the stats it would seem the rest of his game is in great shape.
Yes, Andy's return game has always been a great strength. I haven't looked at the Rioch stats recently, but to be honest from when I have in the past I thought Andy had been about the top 1 or 2 in the return stats for a long time, like certainly through last year.
I think one of the more extraordinary stats is that Andy is 6th on second serve points won. I would suggest it says a hell of a lot more about his general play after the second serve than his second serve itself ! That second serve, while clearly not really exploited by the great majority of players, I still think is a potential liablity against really top players.
