well Bloomers serve is still a powerful weapon but his forehand seems a little bit lightweight these days, when he played Fleming in Cumberland he was being comfortably outhit
i can't remember much about Arvind's groundstrokes i know he had a useful serve
His results in futures had been encouraging but nothing to suggest that he could produce two results of this quality.
Hopefully this is not just a one-off great week and the start of a series of excellent results, and once again shows how successful the college system can be in producing players.
Either way, this has been a great week for Inglot.
The 4 wildcards here were given to guys from the Phillipines, Hungary, GB & US.
Our board would explode if that happened in Jersey!
So glad about the one given to the guy from GB..
The best two results of the year : Inglot bt Bozoljac, Inglot bt Karanusic

Treat Huey (PHI) was a champion player for the University of Virginia, as was Inglot (GBR). The Hungarian is another former US college player - though he played for a university in Texas, so the connection seems more tenuous!
Dom/Rizza won 6-4 6-1...likely to play 2nd seeds in Semi
Dom is in singles action at N.B 12.30 local
Delighted to see Pasquale's assertion confirmed. Let's hope he can emulate his doubles success in the singles today. 27 points now guaranteed in the former, 13 so far in the latter! What a week! He's certainly made that rabble on MTF sit up & take notice!
Donald Young's an interesting opponent now for Inglot.
Always seen of as a great prospect, I remember him as a 16 yo being given WCs to a lot of ATP tournaments, even Masters from memory, and being routinely absolutely thumped, at a time when he could hardly get challenger wins. I remember wondering if this was entirely helpful to him.
However, he did progress to get into the top 100 quite soon after his 18th birthday and according to his ATP profile he is the youngest player to end the year in the top 100 at 18 yrs 5 mths. He reached a high of 73 in Apil 2008 when still aged 18, but since then his ranking seems to have steadily gone backwards to now stand at 231. He seems to have been playing throughout this time, and gaining odd good challenger results including the title in Calabasas, CA last month. At now aged 20, he seems to have become a steady, pretty consistent player but not at as high level as anticipated.
Would though certainly be another great scalp for Dominic.
