Both semis went according to expectation unfortunately

SF: (Q) REN, Jennifer WR 970 lost to (5) MEZAK, Matea (CRO) WR 521 4-6 3-6
SF: CURTIS, Jade (GBR) 1 343 lost to BABOS, Timea (HUN) 695 3-6 4-6

There is at least some good news from Sunderland, as the Rens claim their maiden ITF doubles title, following on from their first junior ITF doubles title last month

Just noticed that former top 150 player Lorna Woodroffe played here in doubles with Georgina Bastick (losing in round 1)! Is Lorna Georgina's coach or something?
