i think its cause they forgot all the other challenger titles he won!

Alex Bogdanovic won his first ATP Challenger title over the weekend with victory over tournament No.6 seed Ivan Dodig (CRO) in unusual circumstances.

After conceding the first set 3-6, Bogdanovic recovered to win the second, 7-6(7) before his Croatian opponent was disqualified for verbally abusing a linesman.

Despite the bizarre conclusion to the 42.5k event, Bogdanovic completed a fine week after only dropping one set en route to the final.

LTA report mess-up of the year, I'd say (and there's some competition for that title!)

I imagine they meant first Challenger title of the year, but they don't clarify it and the error appears twice, in the title and in the report itself.

who ever does the articles involving Boggo certianly fins it difficult to get the facts right, that's 2 wrong this week! i sent them an email advising of the mistake though.

they fixed it to just say he won. lol decided to play it safe rather then put in actual numbers

It's either that or they consider it to be his first ATP Challenger. Did they call them ATP challengers before this year? Or it's just bad journalism.

Probably the latter.
