Keep it going, Bally!  You can do it! pray.gif

*  Interesting develoments in the other half of the draw:  Pauline Parmentier (6/FRA) (WR 138) saw off Simona Halep (WR 230), the Romanian conqueror of the German top seed, Angelique Kerber (WR 91), in the first round, while the unseeded Frog, Claire Feuerstein (WR 220),  accounted for the Frog eighth seed, Stéphanie Cohen-Aloro (WR 134), by 3 & 4! wink

I'm hoping the knee injury is just a niggle.
Story of Bally's career a breakthrough then an injury.

Elena's twitter comments make it sound not too bad:

"Thats what happens with old age..haha...the wrists and knees get achy....x"
"but i ll take what i can from this week...could of been much worse! 32 points in the bag....will be ranked around 85..? x"

86, I think, so she's about right.

Conflicting comments from coach and player on twitter.
Coach heading to NTC for some TLC with medics and then back on the road I assume Italy.
Player heading home to Ipswich feeling sore.
