Hoss said he was down for Glasgow, Cardiff and Jersey. If he wins tomorrow you could see Dan possibly picking up between 45-55 points in the space of 3 weeks which would be good for his ranking

If Eaton did move more towards doubles. If he were to get to where the likes of Fleming is now on doubles and singles it would favour him because he would play the doubles but would be given the chance of qualifying for the singles where he is dangerous.
I personally think he should not forget about singles because has taken some decent scalps even if he has lost to dire opponents as well.
this has come at the perfect time seeing as he loses 24 points when his points here are added, this was probaly part of his thinking in playing here, good desicion
Inglot's statistics are very impressive -- but then given that he was part of the team that won the US university doubles championship last year, that's not a huge surprise. Somdev Devvarman, John Isner, Marcin Matkowski, Amer Delic, Jean-Julien Rojer, Lipsky and Martin, and Wesley Moodie are all past finalists/champions in that event over the past decade. Not bad company!

Yes, rankings wise it does make some sense, and it will be great if he can win the title and pick up 25 points thus covering the 24 points due to come off.
After that, Dan has nothing more to defend this year, so again it would be great to rack up some more points to move himself up the rankings and make direct entry into challengers easier.
For challengers is where in truth his abilities should have him playing just now and the way he has eased through this week to date only tends to reinforce that point.
If you mean Michal Przysiezny, do you want the good news or the bad news?
The good news ... is that since Liverpool, he's been making Evo's defeat against him look a bit less bad by winning 19 of his last 20 matches, including an ongoing 16-match winning streak in which he has qualified for and won a German Future, won Belarus F1 and reached the Final of Belarus F2, which will be played tomorrow.
The bad news ... is that he's down to play in Cardiff next week - he'll be just outside the seeds, though would be seeded if this week and last week were taken into account. We can only hope that having played 18 matches in the last 3 weeks, he'll decide to take a week off, but my guess is that he's got a taste for Brit-bashing now.

Yes, that is amazing (if only we had singles players who suddenly managed a run like that!) and I didn't have the F11 win on the GB successes list (and nobody noticed!) so this week's title wasn't his first 15K title and he shares the record for the most doubles titles for a Brit this year (6) with Ken and Chris.
