Well done the Bogman.

Anyone else feel a title coming on here....he hasn't won one so far this year.

Does this mean Count's signature can change again. I hate that button.

I still can't quite believe Boggo has just gutsed out a win against a top 100 player he'd lost to before from bp down at 5-5 in the 3rd LOL, it's just brilliant smile.gif

The win will take him up to about WR 220.

It's Koubek next by the way, should be tough but Alex can be so streaky he should be confident.

Great to see Boggo not only come through a very tight match, but also beat a very good player, and it's the kind of result that we've been hoping to see from him and that he was showing he was capable of before all the injuries over the summer.

He's got a decent chance of a run in this event, especially with the main dangers of Nieminen and De Bakker in the other half of the draw, although Koubek isn't an ideal opponent in the last eight, he hasn't been in the best of form for the last few months.

Kind of a win/win situation though for Boggo as long as he can get to Stockholm in time as he either gets a SE or a decent shot at ATP qualies where I'd imagine he would be seeded given the usual strength of these kinds of draws.

Fantastic result! It's so easy to take Boggo's results for granted, I often forget he's the second-best player in the country! Anyway, deserves more props, and I'm quite hopeful for his chances against Koubek.

Alex has been knocking around the challenger circuit for so long now, its like he has become a bit of a fixture there. Bar Andy he is the only Brit out there who regularly has his whole points total made up from points won only at challenger level and higher.

Wins like today hopefully show why some of us still belive he can make the top 100. he just has to be able to find a way to do this more often. As Steven says it was impressive that he held on at the end. i dont think Alex is as bad as he was in the past on this, even when he lost to SDC a few week back, he saved a lot of chances before finally going down, but of course you wont win them all in those situations.
