RE: Week 40 - Futures F7 (15k) - Happy Valley, Australia

Jamie beat Ebden in three sets at the start of the month. So should be a good game.

The Aussies must hate the site of Jamie now, on this trip he has won 9 lost 1 against them!

I guess seeds 5 and 6 are ranked 454 and 455 then.

Quite unusual to see 4 seeds all ranked this closely in a futures tournament.

I think its more to do with all of Jamie's points for winning coming on this week (after the seedings were picked)

6 is currently ranked 486
5 is currently ranked 442

Although you may have been being sarcastic which I completely failed to pick!

Another win under his belt, clap.gif and sole survivor of the three non-Aussies in the draw.wink Hope he wins this one and keeps the Brit flag flying down under.

Great result again, he's so consitent in Australia!

He beat Millman in the final (3 sets) two weeks ago, hope for more of the same!

Well done again Jamie - a win here, in the semi, would take him frutratingly close to getting back in top 400

Another really good win, and looks much more straightforward for Jamie than his other recent victory vs Ebden.

It's great to wake up so often to a Jamie Baker victory   smile

Naa, "only" the 6th.

2 semis and then a title in Thailand.  Then final, title and now semi ( so far ) in Oz.

It's quite a run  smile

Nice to see the Baker handing out a breadstick to a higher-ranked Aussie smile.gif

He's now won 25/28 matches since going back to the Far East after losing in Ottershaw including 19 of his last 20. biggrin

How close to his best do you think he is? I know its tough to say but the way hes blitzing through suggests he cant be far off! He could teach a thing or 2 to the other Brits about playing consistant tennis
