Quote from a report on Tennis Australia. Sounds like a pretty awesome win. Winning the 12 out of 13 games after being 5-1 down!
The tournament also saw a shock win by Great Britains Danielle Brown, who defeated Australian Sally Peers (VIC) 7-5 6-1.
Peers dominated early in the first set, rushing to a 5-1 lead but Brown fought back, winning the next six games to win the first set 7-5.
I have recently lost a few three set matches but was determined to stick to my game plan no matter what the score. I gained confidence in the first set by winning my points with aggressive play, Brown said.
Brown, ranked 890 in the world defeated Peers, ranked 338.

That was a tough draw and going to Australia for ranking points hasn't really worked. Her draws have been unfortunate to say the least and now the ranking points from last year start coming off. This upcoming period will be a real test of character for her to see whether she can hold her position and show us she really does belong near the top 250 level.
