Yes, Delgado very likely to fall out the top 100 with the points he was defending now that he has lost in the 1st round and Katie too very likely to fall out the top 100 with the points she is ( not ) defending.

Murray / Marray may need to reach the final ( semi iffy ) in Cherbourg to get Jamie M back into the top 100.

Could be down to 7 top 100'ers next Monday. Hope not !

Jamie D did indeed fall out to 107th place and Jamie M didn't quite make it back, being at 101st place. So down to 8 top 100'ers.

Katie's points don't come off until the next rankings list in 2 weeks, so she has hung on to 100th place, but with not playing IW she will almost certainly drop out. Jamie M will be adding an additional counter in lieu of his IW no points for last year and similarly with Miami which follows.

One in, one out again, so still at eight top 100'ers. Not good that only 2 of these are now singles players. In fact 5 of the 8 are men's double players.

Katie fallen from 100 to 103 and quite a lot of points coming up to defend so could do with refinding form fast.

Jamie in from 101 to 99 as he was able to replace his 0 points from IW last year with his previous 19th score, and will also be able in the next rankings to replace his 0 points from Miami last year.

Back up to 9 top 100ers.

Laura has slipped into the top 100 doubles rankings this week prior to defending 160 points from reaching the 2nd round at Wimbledon last year.

Four of the nine top 100ers have hit career highs in Monday's rankings and the current rankings are :

Back down to 8 top 100'ers ( incl 5 men's doubles players ).

Laura has fallen out again as her Wimbledon doubles points from last year come off. She's down to WR 119.

Jonny Marray has slipped out of the top 100 doubles rankings ( down from 95 to 102 ).

So now down to 7 top 100'ers, the lowest since last September, when the rise from 4 to 9 in one week prompted the original post.

This week has seen another of our doubles players fall out of the top 100, Jamie Murray dropping to 105 just behind Jonny Marray in 104th.

So we are now down to 6 players in the top 100s across both men and women, singles and doubles.

Were up to 8 top 100ers after Jamie Murray and Jonny Marray got back intro the top 100, but now that things have settled down a bit particularly doubleswise after lots of points defending Jonny is back out top of the top 100 and Jamie has risen a lot further thanks to the Muzza bros doubles triumph.

So currently 7 top 100ers, all inside the top 80.

With Anne Keothavong and Jamie Delgado ( Jamie at a CH ) reentering their top 100s in singles and doubles respectively, we arer back to the recent high of 9 Brits in top 100s. Well done to them

Overall I would though remark, unlike Roger the Dodger, that that's split 3 singles players and 6 doubles players.

Muzza sneaks into the top 100 doublers ( at WR 99 ) after Rotterdam, so if we count Andy twice for singles and doubles that's us up to a recent times record of 10 top 100ers.

Roger the Dodger will be happy. Whisper, 7 of the 10 are doubles top 100s, and we only have one singles player between WR 100 and WR 200, but anyway....

Jamie Murray has risen to WR 47 so we now have 2 Brits / Murrays in top 50s.

Perhaps we should talk about 3.7 players in the top 100 - a simple shorthand for 3 singles and 7 doubles players and the overall number gives them a reasonably fair weighting, I'd say.

We can let the Dodger round that up to 4, cos we're nice like that wink

I've got a better one we've got 7.3 players in the top 100, so that's nearly 8. not bad eh, 8% of the top 100 is British.
and maybe for the skim readers it will look like we've got 73 top 100 players :)

BTW how long do we think Dogder's got in left? most of the..... well i was going to say a less than nice term but i'll try and find a better one.... associates he has brought in have departed for shores anew (which a hefty chunk of GB plunder) so if GB tennis failures to take a turn for the better, and especially if we have a 'barren' Wimby things might get tough for him.

Well, the 10 top 100ers lasted just the one week. Back down to 8.

With Anne K' s singles semi final and Jamie Delgado's Serbian Challenger title from last year both falling out the rankings, they have drpped to WR 108 & 103 respectively.

So, as I say down to 8 or 2.6 by the Steven counting method wink
