Tearing up the African futures circuit.

Many Brits have tried but none as consistently as Feavs is managing.

(I know Slabba won one a few years back but didn't do too well in the others IIRC)

In Dec 2007, Slabba reached a QF in the Sudan, semis in Nigeria and then won the second Future in Nigeria to become the ITF 'player of the month,' no less. smile.gif

TPTB at the Kenya LTA obviously can't be @rsed to notify the ITF of any results beyond the first round.  However, I have been able to unearth the following:

L16: (6) Jamie Feaver WR 690 by Vittorio Rubino (ITA) WR 1541 by 4 & 3 smile

QF:  (6) Jamie Feaver WR 690 lost to (3) Alexandre Folie (BEL) WR 709 by 4-6 6-4 3-6 bleh

Source:  the Nairobi Standard.

Still no news of the doubles! hmm

Jamie and partner won the doubles, 6-2, 6-2!!! Well done!!.
All results seem to be on the ITF site, singles final is Mugabe vs Folie.

So they are!  Jamie & Bogdan-Victor (bit of a mouthful, that!) winner.gifs  Well done indeed. smile Those results have all been posted in the course of this afternoon:  I checked at lunchtime (& it was a late one!) & they still weren't up! confuse
