Was impressed with what I saw of Monticone at Shrewsbury actually. Though she was playing a hideously unfit and overweight Pole, so perhaps that made her seem rather better than she was.

According to the online translation I did:

18 Hours feeling on the Centre Court, series no open SFM SUEZ, Giulia GATTO-MONTICONE 1 head encountered the UK qualifications, Nicola GEORGE outcome. The first balls could leave thinking to an easy victory of Giulia both she seemed more regular. But once entered completely in the match, Nicola constantly pushed Giulia GATTO-MONTICONE winning a victory at the speed of lightning bolt 6/3-6 / 2 and leaving many baba public of admiration. What beautiful success for Nicola that must now be considered a serious candidate for the title

Brilliant win for Nic, I hope she never goes back to juniors because she sucks there

That's Nicola's third 4 point score so she should enter the rankings on Monday week around 920, unless of course she can pick up further points in this tournament and/or Barnstaple next week.
