Well, Dan beat Coll-Riudavets  6-3  3-1  retired last week on his way to the title.

I am sure we hope that Coll-R is well recovered from whatever ailed him last week wink.gif

I wonder when the Portu-goose tennis PTB are going to get their @rses in gear & post yesterday's results:  the tournament has no web site (at least Porto had one:  that's where I found Dan's result on Sunday), the draw sheet on the ATP site is still a complete blank, while if the ITF is to be believed, there isn't even a draw sheet available! frustrated.gif  To add insult to injury, the Portuguese Tennis Federation site is worse than the LTA's:  all it does is discuss the straight-sets wins of the Portu-goose WC, Trueva, & of Pedro Sousa! disbelief

News of Dan from the news section of the Portu-goose Federation site, arguably because he won the Porto title last weekend:  he won by 1 & 0, but against some unknown (to me) Spaniard by the name of Joan Benaiges (so he's probably Catalan), not against Nacho Coll, the second seed.  Still, the records will show a win & that's all that matters, I suppose...! biggrin There's unfortunately no clue as to whether he'll play Marc Giner (ESP/WR 904) or Juan Beaus (ESP/WR 1044) in the last 16, but probably the former... wink

Nice win for Morgan: 6-3 6-1. clap.gif He'll next play the Aussie, Allen Perel, a LL, who saw of the Portuguese WC, 6-0 6-3.

How do they determine who the lucky loser will be if the highest seed is unranked?

About time the ITF got its @rse in gear:  Morgan & Marc won that match by 5 & 1 & face the Spanish second seeds, Juan Beaus & Agustín Boje, in the QF.  Fingers crossed...
