Interestingly the no 1 seed in qualies Lester Cook WR 259 24/04/1984 started tennis at age 21 - YES 21 ashamed

At least that's what it says on ITF, but it also shows a ranking of 1379 in 2001 which doesn't add up.

Singles
(6) Richard BLOOMFIELD (GBR) vs (WC) Mousheg HOVHANNISYAN (USA)

Doubles
(3) Richard BLOOMFIELD / Tim BRADSHAW (GBR / GBR) vs Tim GORANSSON / Thomas KROMANN (SWE / DEN)

Both 1st round matches Tuesday

USTA website

Edit
Just noticed that ALL 8 qualifiers plus 2 WC are in the top half of the draw ashamed
What are the odds of that happening?  Of course Richard is in the bottom half!
