Ahmed was top seed in qualifying and managed to come through for the loss of just 3 games in 2 matches.

R1 (L64)

(9) Ahmed El Menshawy v Bye

R2 (L32)

(9) Ahmed El Menshawy v (LL) Wyatt Lippert

Ahmed is also in the doubles, paired with Alcantra of the Philippines. They are seeded 3rd and have a bye in the 1st round.

Yes, especially since I've been through their ranking breakdown and playing activity results ( fascinating reading smile ) and can't see a win.
