Hey Fitzy, what is Morgan like as a player? Do you think he has top 100 potential?
Well done on your win today

Thanks, wolf, for the detailed report. Egyptian Futures seems to be at least a partial answer to the "how can Capone be in the top 900?" question, plus virtually all his points are from clay court tournaments.

Congrats to Fitzy on the win. A pretty good day overall, especially Tim Bradshaw's fine win against Grigelis. smile.gif

Judging by his surname, perhaps some low level bribery?

I'm sure you did, but I didn't exactly walk around with mole plastered across me.

Oh and by the way, for anyone who hasn't guessed, I think it is fairly safe to say Indian_Warrior is Maniel himself.

I honestly hadn't even looked at the birthdate, but he joined at the same time as Ed Seator and they were at the same tournament.

And come on....Indian Warrior

Yeah you're right wolf, I checked the registered email address and it does give it away biggrin.gif

Bad luck yesterday Maniel, decent performance against the Georgian guy who was being really bigged up as a future star a couple of years ago

Sheddie, I know you run this board, but please don't do that - people are entitled to remain anonymous or semi-anonymous if they want to (just as we have the right to speculate based on which tournament threads they post on!), but they're not all as brave about associating openly with this bunch of nutters (yes, I am speaking for myself smile) as Fitzy and Seator. I'm sure they don't want their email addresses used like that and we don't want to put players and their connections off joining at all.

Having said that, if it is Maniel, I'd like to welcome our first strangled cat member to the board. biggrin Tough draws the last couple of weeks - Illy just as he was finding some form last week then Kuku this time.

That's quite a scalp for Tim! nod.gif

*  Every time I've checked the Beeb site today (from about  one o'clock onwards), I've found only last Friday's SF results in Wrexham or, if I was lucky, yesterday's first-round results! hmm  Refeshing the page made absolutely no difference in the latter case.
