Almost embarrasing for Metz that only seven teams have signed in, but great for Flemski as they'll make an ATP event without a WC for the first time, and with the draw not that strong, they could score some decent points (Clement/Llodra will win it if they play though)

I assume that they were planning on playing a challenger as they never expected to make the cut for Metz.

I'd imagine the on-site cut for Metz may be quite high as a lot of teams will see there are extra spots available and this try to play it.

Robson, Rae and Curtis will all get wild cards into Shrewsbury, I can say that with some confidence.

The fourth one is up for grabs I guess.

lets hope boggo make the MetzQ cut. the MD cut has dropped to 100 so fingers crossed he gets in and gets a nice draw.

I wonder if Eaton could get there in time after his finish at Nottingham today?

well depends how far it drops, last year it was very low, but there's no challengers indoors next week to 'soak up' the mid ranked players so i expected the cut to be a bit lower this year.

the deadline is what 7pm local time? would Chris even have had time to arrange a flight to Luxembourg then transfer to Metz by then?

Eaton is not in Metz but Boggo is and gets a 1st round bye

Plays Frank Wintermantel in R2 and probably De Chaunac in Qr

Yeh it would always have been hard for him to get there, if he had had the time, im sure he would have made the trip.

Im sure he might try and get involved with some ATP quals later on in the year, like Lyon and Stockholm.

Are any Brits gonna try quals for Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok next week ??
